During the delivery I noticed that the goods were damaged or did not match the ordered amount. What should I do?
It is up to you to carefully examine the quality and condition of the arriving goods at your place of delivery. If you notice that the goods have been damaged, or that the delivered quantity does not correspond to your order, you need to immediately notify the carrier (Die Post Switzerland) and to submit an appropriate complaint to that carrier. Then please also inform EPOCA 1932 LLC within 7 days from the delivery. EPOCA 1932 LLC will replace the missing or damaged goods according to the corresponding order.
Can I return the goods if I do not like them?
You can return goods that you do not like, within 14 days from receipt of your order. EPOCA 1932 LLC only accepts returned goods in perfect condition and unopened in their original packaging, and if they are accompanied by the original invoice. If the return shipment took place in this prescribed manner EPOCA 1932 LLC will reimburse the price of the returned goods and the cost of the accounted delivery, within no more than 30 days from receipt of the returned goods. The postage cost of your return shipment will not be reimbursed.
What are the delivery conditions and delivery costs?
Our delivery conditions correspond to those of the Swiss Post (Die Schweizerische Post). They are therefore valid for Switzerland and the principality of Liechtenstein. EPOCA 1932 LLC endeavours to carry out its standard deliveries (quantities of stocks permitting) within one (1) to three (3) working days, counted from order confirmation. In no case EPOCA 1932 LLC can be made responsible for eventual delays or mishaps that are attributable to one of its partner companies. All articles in our stocks are shipped on the working day that follows the order confirmation.
What are the shipping and delivery deadlines after sending off my order?
The deliveries are carried out by the Swiss Post (Die Schweizerische Post). The delivery costs are accounted in addition to the value of the order according to the following conditions – free of charge (granted by EPOCA 1932 LLC) with invoiced goods value of CHF 100.- or more.
Delivery conditions and costs:
CHF 9.- for every order with a value between CHF 0.- and CHF 59.99
CHF 7.- for every order from a minimal value of CHF 60.-
FREE OF CHARGE (GRATIS) for every order from a minimal value of CHF 100.-
I do not own a credit card nor a debit account at PostFinance. How can I order coffee and pay my invoice?
You can place orders and pay your invoices via bank transfer (e-bill with inpayment slip / IBAN). Please keep in mind that the ordered goods are shipped only after receipt of the payment in the account of EPOCA 1932 LLC.
What is the average expiration date of the coffees ; how long do they retain their aromatic, olfactory and flavor qualities?
As long as the coffee is stored in a hermetically sealed container or package and in dry surroundings its average shelf life amounts to 2 years. All EPOCA coffees guarantee this same average shelf life independently of their type of packaging (coffee beans, capsules, coffee pods or ground coffee).
What happens to the informaton that I enter when I register my account ? Are my personal data protected?
We treat all personal data relating to you, and as required for the processing of sales and distribution, with strict privacy, and we strive to protect them and to use them exclusively for handling your orders and inquiries or to periodically improve our services proposed to you on our website, or to inform you about further developments. However you can change your access right yourself at any time, you can apply corrections in your account or you can request correction of your data by writing an E-mail to us.
Can my delivery address differ from my invoicing address?
All orders confirmed by EPOCA 1932 LLC are shipped to the delivery address that is documented on the order. The delivery address can be different from the invoice address. Both addresses can be modified in your account at any time, or while you place an order.
I noticed a swelling of the little bags that contain the ESE coffee pods. Is this normal?
The little bags containing our coffee pods ESE Ø 44 mm are hermetically sealed under a protective atmosphere in order to always guarantee a consistent product quality that remains unaltered, and hence also completely preserves the coffee flavor and taste. When the little bags containing the coffee pods, or the cardboard boxes with them inside, are stored in a very warm place or at higher altitude, or when they are exposed to temperature variations (e. g. on a balcony or in a garage) these little bags can swell. The reason for the swelling is a normal reaction of natural expansion of the protective gas inside the little bag; this is harmless and does not affect the coffee’s quality.
The ordered capsules do not function correctly in my coffee machine. What now?
Our capsules are subjected to rigorous testing at regular intervals to allow us to foster the further development of their characteristics. With these efforts we supply a quality product also in the field of our capsules which are compatile and which function very well with most Nespresso®* systems. It can happen, however rarely, that with certain “U-Model” machines the result does not match the expectations. Such difficulty can be resolved by (more) extensive heating of the coffee machine. Thereby it is sufficient to fill up one or two cups only with hot water produced by the machine – i. e. without capsule inserted in the machine. This hot water does not only heat up the machine and the cups very well but simultaneously eliminates any impurity and perhaps also deposit in the machine’s pump. It is very useful to know that the capsule perforator inside the capsule machine wears out during use and has a limited life time. Hence please remember to examine your machine and the state of its capsule perforator from time to time.
